Foreign Investment Approval

Foreign investor intending to invest in Nepal requires (a) in-principle approval from DOI/IIPB/IBN (approval is based on capital structure and nature of business), (b) register legal entity, (c) register industry and (d) obtain approval from Nepal Rastra Bank. Based on nature of industry investor may require additional business specific approval from the concerned department.
